Need some help with my Pirates save

Hi all, I've just purchased OOTP 24 after playing the last version to death.

I'm managing the Pirates and I've just called up Skenes. In the "Pitching" section his name is listed and "(DH)" next to him. I'm trying to remove this because he is automatically in my hitting lineup when I'm starting a match but I can't figure out how to. I don't want him in my hitting lineup.

he's listed as a P/DH/C on BBREF but go to player strategy on his profile page and un-click Use as 2 Way Player.
