This game is much more dedicated to the pictures of Mr. Franklin now. You need look no further than the almost weekly release of a new meta enticed by the "Oh yeah, you need to buy these special expensive packs to really have very much of a chance at these new cards. But we will add them to the regular packs in a week or two." This is purely max profit driven.

I am for the company making money. You can look back all the way to PT19 and my comments about point sales to see that. I just don't like to feel as if my love of the game and competitive drive is trying to be taken advantage of. That is what the constant holding out of your open hand does to your customers. People are leaving, ignore it or not. Others are like me. I have spent some money every year on one team culminated with the highest total this year. But PT24 was the last of my spending for PT. I am still on the fence but may do PT+ for one team but no more than that. Big deal, right? My dollars mean little. But when enough people feel this way, and the number is growing, people will wonder what happened.
Well said, and I couldn't agree more. As far as PT Plus, someone told me that this is not going to exist, at least in the way we know it too..

No PT+ will just save me that much a month meaning my pre-order is all they get this year.

Pipe dream

Tring to convince 100% of the users to boycott "winning" is never going to work.

The OVR ratings are useless. Base card prices can be set with Perfect-Diamond-Gold - Silver - Bronze-and-Iron. One thing that would become clear if you got rid of the OVR is folks would actually have to look at the underlying ratings. I think doing so would have a big effect on how folks play the game and also would change the price structure of cards as well.

In fact, maybe we doing even need the Perfect-to-Iron classification - just force people to look under the hood.

OVR is not, in and of itself, useless. The main problem with OVR is ratings creep. As we progress through the year, card age becomes more and more important than OVR. It always will be given the inflationary spiral that must exist to keep new missions attractive and to keep players buying.
