now that I can play the pc version there is no reason for me to go back to GO unless I was playing PT or they actually get it comparative to the pc version.

This. It’s my one real beef. There are many people who have asked questions or had/have problems that just seemingly get ignored, including myself (dating back to May 15th). That I find unacceptable. I never had a problem with the base game where I had to pose a question but those responsible for this product can learn a lesson from the team that develops FHM. They are responsive and dedicated to the consumer. It is almost like dealing with two different companies.

For me, the biggest problem with the 23 version was the lack of a 2D option when playing out games. It makes no sense to have 3D graphics on a baseball game for your phone, especially when most people who come to this mobile version are almost certainly fans of the PC version, which for most of its history has been text-based, with static 2D graphics or instant results available on game day.

Playing out games on the 23 version was like watching gnats flitting around on the screen of my cellphone. Actually, gnats are bigger that the little sprites in Go 23. What is the point? Wouldn't it actually be easier to code a text-only mobile version? Or a version with a text or 2D option? Or a version that just gives you the result of the play, without commentary of any kind--"Lindor thrown out at 2nd." I don't mind that the mobile game is a very stripped down version of the full PC version. I don't mind if I can't easily add teams, or if I can't have a minor league system, or any of that stuff, A mobile OOTP baseball game is supposed to be something for me to do while I wait in the car for my wife to finish shopping. It's supposed to be a base-bones version of the full game. Then, when I get home, I can play the full version on our desktop PC.

If the company is nice enough to give the mobile version away for free, it should have a minimum of features. It's a treat for those of us who know and love PC-based OOTP (and some of us have been playing for a VERY long time), and hopefully it will bring in new players who think games only come from Google play store.

But why waste coding resources on a feature that will make the mobile game less likely to be played?

Because of the pointless 3D graphics in the 23 version I only played about 5 games on my phone, and never bothered to download the 24 version.

Agreed. Need 2D back!!!

But I would be willing to pay for more features like the exhibition mode.

A couple days ago I took my wife to the beauty salon to get a haircut. I waited outside in our car.

It is times like that when you want to play something like OOTP Go. The game should be a minimal version of the PC OOTP. You just do not need silly 3-D graphics.

It seems like your post ignores the fact that we get a really, really good game for a few pennies and there is always the opportunity to go more in-depth if you want on your PC.

To say you want a few more features is fine. It’s a free speech board within reason. To say the game is essentially worthless—that’s not fair.
