Hi guys,

Please post any issues with the historical databases here. Players importing multiple times, not importing, crazy ratings, wrong stats or other stuff like this. LansdowneSt, Garlon, Bigrod and Lukas will do their best to respond and to fix any issues.

Just a note, some 2023 historical stats had a bug, these will be fixed soon. For now 2023 probably won't work in historical play, at least with minors active.

This sort of thing is always helpful, but I'm actually planning on going through and mass updating this at some point in the year to get anything that's wrong correct. It's kind of a huge job to go player by player.

Absolutely, I would expect it to be tedious! Just offering it if you are interested, but obviously it's really low priority.

Would it be easier if I looked up and provided the city ids from the xml file? I can add that if it would help.

I mean, yeah it would help. But I could give you a .csv with all the city id's, which should be even easier to work with.

Looks like when starting historical leagues, both imported stats and "real life" stats show the age as "0" (zero) for every entry year. The age of the players, however, do import correct. Examples for a new game starting in 1985 attached. FYI I also started a new game for 2024 start and it does not have this issue. Thanks !

Can you walk us through exactly what settings you chose and how you started the league (i.e. wizard, advanced mode etc)?

New Historical Game using the Historical League Creation Wizard
Challenge Mode off
1985 Start -> Import Complete History up to 1985 (checked)
Career Mode (Checked)
Import Real Minor Leagues (1915+) (Checked)
Enable automatic import of financial settings (Checked)
Use talent ratings and OOTP dev engine
Automatic expand league (Checked)
Hold expansion draft (Checked)

I just created another save with the identical settings and everything looks ok this time, weird.

When i go into team history the records for 2023 are incorrect. They're all the records from 2022. will that be fixed?

I thought we corrected this already, but must've slipped through. We'll definitely make sure it's fixed up.

For this year's version you have to manually add the morale system and players' personalities in historical mode. Unfortunately, when you do that they're *all* unmotivated/lazy.

Also, if there is a way to add the financial system to begin with that'd be great. When you have to add it manually everyone starts off at the league minimum, which isn't realistic. I'd have to run through multiple seasons without running a team in order to get it to look realistic.

I have since solved these problems. Sorry about that!

1920 MLB import with minors on. NeL has extra invisible team. I recall this glitch from early version of OOTP 24 last year

1930 Willie Wells did not import into the NeL. Started a league in 1930 with historical minors on, 1 year recal.

Issue found and (hopefully) fixed. Let's see how it looks in an upcoming build.
