Perfect team reserve 14 days doesn't decrement?

OK, I'll apologize in advance for being a newbie and for not knowing where the league files are located to upload. Assistance with this post will be appreciated.

I've placed many of my SP on the reserve list because they are exhausted. I expect to be able to move them back to the active roster after 14 days (games?) but several calendar days and two months of simulations still finds the SP timed-out at 14 days on the reserve roster. I need my pitching staff back!

Perhaps I am not using the reserve list correctly. What am I supposed to do when all my SP are either exhausted or tired?

Your SP will (almost always) recover to 100% by the time their next turn in a five-man rotation is due, so there was no reason to send them to the reserve roster because of this. Set rotation size to five, and you'll be fine. There are tricks that allow you to run shorter rotations involving limited pitch counts and batters faced, but PT really wants modern settings, which is a five-man front and no more than about 100 pitches per start.

Why are they sitting on 14 days and not decrementing? Did you deactivate them rather than send them to the reserve roster? Did you offer them for sale in the card shop? If they're sitting on reserve then their numbers should be decreasing by one for each league day played (and it is days, not games). If they aren't then something is not working properly.

Thanks for the explanation of how the pitchers get rested. I saw all my starting pitchers were very tired or exhausted and as a newbie sorta panicked. The explanation of the Reserve roster use was helpful.

As to the excessively long stays on the reserve roster, that seems to have cleared up on by itself. Maybe my choice to use the AI to set the pitching helped - I don't know.

Anyhow, thanks.
