Yes same size and format and I believe also the same file name. If you use a different file name, it doesn't work. Well, that's what I've found out.
A simple name change you would only need to change it and save it. Last edited by zappa1; 02-24-2024 at 06:59 AM. |

The sign you are looking for is in the texture folder in that park folder. it is named batter_score.jpg. You can try and modify it with something like paint.net (free) or just replace it with something of the same size as Mike said.

You could replace it with this picture of ARod and you wouldn't have to do anything else.

Honestly I would love to know how you created that, Silva so I can go and create my own. A old digital style sign like it was in Yankee Stadium. Sorry I keep harping on this...

Silvam, have you dabbled with a late 70's era Comiskey Park when Bill Veeck reacquired the team and removed the bullpens in CF to extend the CF distance again?

I would disregard the individual parks linked on my post. They are mostl likely outdated compared to the zip file. I will probably remove those links and replace them with a list instead at some point Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...d.php?t=352952 It essentially reverts you back to 24's scaling as a practical matter.

Black rectangles on some historical ballpark walls
Silvam and company and other BP creators: I recently (as I do every year) d-loaded and installed the wonderful historical ballparks from the OOTP 25 Steam workshop. A couple of the historical BPs I've seen so far have black squares on some of the OF walls. For instance, 1931 Griffith Stadium.
My PC's video cards are up to date, and I don't have issues using MOST of the hist. BPs. I subscribed, downloaded and installed the HIST BPs the usual way, as I've been doing using the Steam OOTP workshop for several years running. Is anyone else getting black rectangles on some historical BP walls? I'm not using any "filters" in the game, and my PC well exceeds the specs needed for OOTP25. I also re-subscribed and re-installed the HIST BPs in the OOTP 25 workshop AGAIN; same issues. ===edited: please see screenshot below. I meant the problem is with Griffith Stadium in my 1931 replay, NOT Shibe Park. My bad. ANd the rectangle shows up in the ballpark both in the game AND in 3D ballpark edit. Please disregard the Shibe park picture in my comment below. The forums won't let me delete my comment there or my picture.-====== Last edited by robedits; 03-24-2024 at 12:24 PM. |

You do realize that these are two different parks. One is griffith stadium and the other is shibe? Don't you?

My bad. I mean the black rectangle is in 1931 Griffith Stadium, NOT Shibe Park. I got confused posting the screenshots. But the thing is: this black rectangle shows up in Griffith Stadium both in 3D park editor AND in the game. SO it might be an issue with Griffith Stadium ,which I'm using in my 1931 replay.

SIlvam: Sorry if I wasn't making this clear:
I'm referring to the large black rectangle in my screenshot (above) of Griffith Stadium on the RCF wall (not the smaller tunnels shown in the LF and LCF stands). I'm aware that the small rectangles in the stands would be exits. Please refer to the giant black rectangle on the RCF wall, which when I zoom in has remnants of what appears to be an advertisement, that appears to be missing it's background? The black behind this RCF wall rectangle should be a colored background for an ad, perhaps? OR was this supposed to be a scoreboard of sorts? Not sure. |

Silvam, hope I'm not being annoying with this request, but have you ever thought about doing Comiskey Park 1976-1980, after Bill Veeck reacquired the team and removed the bullpens in CF to extend it to the original distance? After Veeck sold the team in '81, that's when they moved the 'pens back to CF. In the link I've provided, the diagrams don't show this period, but the writing talks about it, plus there's several videos online of ChiSox home games from the late 70's, including the infamous disco demolition derby.
