Infield Shifts
Does not allowing infield shifts result in more hits or is it just the power of the players at the plate?

It seems I remember one of the Devs stating that shifts do impact hitters to a small degree. Of course it depends on the hitters tendencies. So I would guess not allowing shifts would have a small impact on hits.

Bear in mind that the real life application of banning shifts last year was that BABIPs went up all of 6 points. Granted, the entirety of that was basically seen in left handed pull hitters, but even for them it can’t have been a night and day increase.

Six points of BABIP is quite large in reality. And if it was all LHB,then that's roughly 18 points for them...which would be huge.
