Scouting discrepancy
I was curious why my excellent scout says 2 different things on the same player. His ratings have not really slipped so he still feels like a 68 but it also shows him at 48.
Any reason why this would happen? I almost traded him thinking he was in serious decline at age 31. But, I held off once I saw he was still 68 days ago. ![]() |

One is as a reliever, the other as a starter is my guess.

I thought so too but he was always a RP, but wants to be a starter.
So, I changed him to a SP and his rating of 48 remained. Then changed him back to a RP and his rating changed to the 68 he was supposed to be. Odd that for a week he was showing both. |

I see discrepancies between the summary report and the detailed report all the time--I would say more often than not. Usually small, sometimes bigger, hardly ever as large as your example.
I usually go by the detailed report. I have tried immediately ordering it again and moving the re-order to the top of lost to minimize elapsed time. Usually there is again a discrepancy between the summary and the detailed, but the 2nd detailed report is usually the same or nearly exactly the same. |
