What Happens for my Upcoming Years

So, I m playing a replay of the 70's decade. But I am not using a draft. Upcoming rookies will be assigned to their real teams. However, it is not actual lineups and rotations, as trading is allowed. There are AAA and AA leagues. There are fictitious players. My question is about these fictitious players.

1) Will these players also carry over to the next year(s)?

2) Will new fictitious players be introduced as rookies in the next years?

If you enabled full-strength minor league teams the game will create enough fictitious players to supply that.* IDK what happens if you select "don't allow fictional players to reach majors," but if you do allow it fictional players will persist.

*Or, maybe, many many more than enough, which is what I'm seeing in a league I have run from 1919-1923, ongoing. But I did not select "rookies assigned to actual teams;" IDK whether that could be affecting the total # of new players each year. I'm seeing a huge pool of FAs all the time (~500 at the start of post-season, maybe 400-450 at other times). Most are 20-20s or not much better, and are never hired by anyone. I haven't kept track of whether never-hired FAs persist from year to year.

Thank you!!! I only have 2 levels of minors, but maybe that will be enough to keep the teams stocked.
