settings for playing/watching games

Are there some recommendations for the best settings for playing your game/watching? In other words are there control mechanisms that can be applied so that the action is seamless, not as 'jerky'?

The game hasn't truly made the jump to showing video. It's really still in the graphical representation realm. I don't know any settings that will change that.

Why do people use different players, different lineups, different strategy, development, talent change randomness, and the development lab, but judge the game on whether it produces historical statistics?
