Promo/Relegation League with Real Teams?
I tried a forum search but maybe missed it.
Is there a way to set up a promo/relegation team with 20 teams in each of X tiers where each of the teams are real teams as they exist in a certain year, with their real players, with finances? Ie., take the 20 best record teams from last year and make them Tier A, and the next 10 along with 10 fantasy teams to make them Tier B, and then take 20 fantasy teams to make Tier C? I've looked at the promo/relegation quick start but it's quite complicated. If there's a youtube tutorial or a written one about really fiddling with this stuff, a link to that would be great! |

That can be done in League Settings > Functions > Edit League Structure > Add Historical Team That will bring up a pop up window; select historical_database.odb Then you can type the year (make sure to refresh) and then select the team At this point you can fill and order the leagues how you would like. Do you know how to set up a Promotion/Relegation format? If not, there's a quickstart that already has a four league ladder. You can start with that, delete all the teams, and then feed the leagues with the historical teams you want. |

Thanks, yes, that helps! I do know how to create a promo/relegation league, just didn't know how to get the real teams in there. That's perfect. Thanks!
