League Transactions Not Working (Since OOTP 23)
Here is the original thread. My most recent post discusses the issue we are still experiencing as a league in OOTP 25 as well as a new one that appeared with this year's new version of the game.
Thank you for assisting us with this: https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...d.php?t=350325

Just wondering if there were any updates on this. Anything we can try? This is a bummer to not have working.

I'm still not entirely sure what's happening in the handful of leagues where this still seems to be an issue. If the commissioner can see the full and valid data, there's no reason when they create and upload the reports that it wouldn't include the same view essentially that they can see locally. As long as they're using the correct report options and upload options, those files should be transferred properly.
Newer leagues do not experience these issues, and I think the main difference is whether the league is still running off the old text file system, or the newer in-game database setup (which has been the default for a few versions now). If you change over to using the in-game DB, that should solve almost all of these issues, because then the raw report information is packaged in there and in a consistent state, rather than relying on download/sync issues. That's also highly recommended if you have multiple people who alternate commish roles - the text system does not necessarily transfer all the raw files, so you might get some skipped transactions as each commish's local folder will only include from the times they are simming. The only other help would be to send over the entirely of the commish's local folder (including all the settings files, accounts data files, and all the temporary zip files that are created and uploaded), and we can try to see if we can see the same issue on our end when we try. Just to understand if there is some checkbox somewhere that is not correct, or some option that maybe in our tests is set but that is not set for them. |
