Ah the fan boy, the white knight coming to save OOTP from negative comments.Where would we be without them? Any consumer has the right to complain about a product that advertises a feature that’s not included upon release.

I'm sure it was advertised with full intention of providing the feature. I believe no deception was intended. But with the number of times similar things have occurred, perhaps it's time for the devs to realize their sincerity isn't enough to get results and perhaps they should be more cautious about saying what they plan on doing.
