Out of memory

My game crashes like clockwork every 45-90 minutes, so I have to save backup every few minutes and then recover each time I boot up the game.
I went through and made all the detail stuff and sliders in the 3d settings to low. I also got rid of saving box scores and players who didn't make to the majors. I also play in offline mode, because when Steam in running, I only get about 20-30 mins

*I have more than half of my PC's memory. I run Crusader Kings for hours with no problem, as it's the only other game I have downloaded.
I have an ASUS TUF gaming A15 that I purchased this year.

I've been playing OOTP for 16 years and I've never had an issue like this.
Any tips or ideas on how to make my PC run this game and run in general would be greatly appreciated.
