Empty Draft Pool when setting Draft Pool Reveal to May 5
I've run this a few times now and get the same result each time but when you set the draft pool reveal date to May 5 (or other custom dates) with a custom draft date (in this case Nov 1). The draft pool is empty on May 5, despite that being the reveal.

This definitely seems like a bug at this point. I get the email that the pool was revealed but the link for the mock draft inside the email just takes me to the draft order and the link to the draft pool is completely empty.
This is for historical leagues. At least that's what I was running. Last edited by omg_pwnasaurus; 03-16-2024 at 11:03 PM. |

Hmmm, leaving the default reveal day also doesn't seem to work for historical leagues either. Totally empty draft pool, email doesn't have the player list of reveal either like it normally says who the top guys available are. Links inside the email are blank.

Hmm, leaving the default draft day and draft reveal day still produced no mock draft, no draft pool reveal and empty emails about the draft class.
I'm completely stumped now, did some default setting change where it's not importing the draft class unless you check something? So weird. I left everything default in testing, historical save, 1983, career mode. |

Email says scouts have 30 days from now to scout the draft even though i set the reveal date to 180 days before the draft. Something is definitely bugged I think. I can't get the draft pool to show up on the reveal date at all whether I leave it as default reveal date or change it and if changed the email still reflects 30 days out.
Is it not correctly pointing to the db by default or something? That would be weird. Last edited by omg_pwnasaurus; 03-16-2024 at 11:58 PM. |

It's been logged and being worked as a bug. Been a few threads on the issue. Thanks for the additional info. It all helps to track it down.

Ah ok thanks, my bad, I looked around but must not have seen it. Seems like it works if you leave the reveal date and draft date as default, but not otherwise, if that helps any.

No worries, the multiple threads serve as confirmation as much as multiple posts in the same thread. It's been logged. I can see how if no one ever moved the date, it might have only flagged when the game got into more hands. Appreciate the report of it by everyone so it can be looked at soonest.

Still a bug?
Do we know if this is being worked on? I am haveing hte same issue, I always have changed to dates on hiosrotical career game modes for the draft to July simular to real life. Currently, trying to play the 1998 Tampa and the draft class is empty unless i leave the default and have a draft in November.

So in your example, if you start a game in 1998, the player pool will create all the players who started in 1998 when you create the game, so when the draft goes to populate in-season, there's nobody left to draft. It would work in future seasons (a July 1999 draft would include all players who debuted in 1999), but the first year will have nobody eligible. |

we started the league in 1987 and are now in 2002, but we are running into the same issue all of a sudden-- draft reveal in June isn't showing. Trying to solve the issue, we found that if we put the draft in NOV it shows properly.
Is that going to have to be the default moving forward? This is our first season on 25 btw. |

Here's one where twins_34 gives a good recap of the issue. https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...d.php?t=356149
