Old / New Ballparks
I just finished my first season in my 1970s Decade save. I'm handling the Pirates, and my team is the ONLY team that did not make the playoffs from the real life teams.
Anyway, on to topic. While I really like the visuals of the ballparks of that time, I was looking to try something different for the next season. Is it possible to use today's ballparks but incorporate the ballpark numbers of that decade / season? I don't want to change up results affected by the ballpark numbers; just the visual of the ballpark. I like the looks of the new stadiums. I know I would have to come up with alternatives for Montreal, but that is a minor issue. |

You can install the current parks then manually edit the park factors to match what they were in 1971. There might be an easier way. If there is someone will think of it.

Pirates Play Moneyball 1951 to 2008 46,000 views and counting!... Wow, up to 47,000, thank you. Wow, I hadn't checked for weeks. Oct 9 2024 its 79,561. Why do people use different players, different lineups, different strategy, development, talent change randomness, and the development lab, but judge the game on whether it produces historical statistics? |
