Scouting weirdness….

So, as the Giants in 2027, I get the July Development Progress report for my scout. I was astonished to see Patrick Bailey, a capable but not spectacular hitter get apparently TCR’d into a GOD. 75 con, 75 pow, essentially 75’s across the board. I was also mortified, because I’d just signed him to a lowball extension to buy out the last year of his arbitration.

After about two weeks, I realized, “this dude ain’t hitting like all that,” so I re-scouted him (favor tools scout, btw) bam, right back to pre-“blip” status. Is this like, a thing in 25? I haven’t ever seen that before, and I’ve been playing since 18.

I can try an post screen shots of his dev page when I get home. Just weeeeird, man…

Edit: I’d thought that perhaps I had “relative to-“ set to a lower league when the report was generated, but it wasn’t that, btw. I only say that because I know from past experience that sometimes causes a thing like this to happen. Also, all the other players on the report increased/decreased along normal lines.
