Is there any way of getting rid of a Combinator Series Card? Got one, he is awful, and cannot cur his price below the 5000 points his is set at. And did I mention he is awful?

I wish it were possible, too. I have two sitting in my card orders with no bids. They will be there, no doubt. until the season ends.

I love this game but this inability to unload combis, and the avoidable bottlenecks like the silver deGrom card and a few others, make this game far less enjoyable this season. I'm just giving my honest feedback.

I mentioned the combinator issue on the TWIPT stream and all I got from chat was "use them for combi food." Wait, what?? Not helpful.

Situation might get better by end of season with combinators given that there is enough supply and you pull at least one playable Combinator for any PT League and/or Tournament format

Half of the chatters in the stream are always just fanboys and yuck monkeys. Those are who answered your legitimate question.

I have about 35. Over a third of my allowable sell-orders are combinators that will never sell, lmao. Once I get to 100 and every buy/sell order is an unusable/unsellable card, I will delete the game

As I've said previously, I won't just get rid of them for nothing (combo them) until I'm sure OOTP is not interested in doing the right thing and is intent on irritating and insulting their players lol (both P2W and F2P).

There are a good number of ways that the combinators and their rollout has been unsuccessful, in my opinion - but by far the inability to quicksell them even though every single card (including the absolute worst) has a combinator is the most indefensible.

Do the OOTP Devs think that the Whales are happy constantly pulling red back cards only to flip it and find it's literally USELESS - not even worth 5PP. That's just crazy. And then you get a celebration on the pack acting like you pulled a perfect card when a Live Iron is a better pull.

This just has to be fixed - maybe there could be a trade-in feature, where you trade in 5 combinators for a combi-choice pack of that level or something - if they really don't want to allow quicksell for some reason. But something has to be done.

If this was all planned from the beginning, we would have been told what they are for, how they work, and what comes in the future (if anything). As I said before, I think it wasn't fleshed-out ahead of time. Once the problems started to surface, it became a "how do we fix it" issue - but fixing it NOW will now cause further problems. I'm guessing whatever they have planned for Combinators won't be released until next version, giving themselves time to test run a new plan before any significant changes. If you really have 35 of these albatrosses, use them up now to get whatever you can out of them - otherwise they will still be there in February.

I have been quite lucky to sell 2 diamond combinator cards, but I have an iron combinator card that has been on the card market for a month now for 2001 points and no one cares. I literally turn the game off in disgust when I get one in a pack.

That truly says it all. And that makes their integration thus far an objective failure if many players feel this way.

The fact that this could be fixed overnight by allowing them to be quicksold makes it a really silly problem.

If I knew that the red back meant I was going to get a 2K/5K/10K/20K/50K/100K quicksell card, I'd be pumped to see it.

And the reason they are not worth those figures is two-fold; (1) the cost to upgrade them is far too much PLUS they add the gambling aspect to it (like a slot machine) and (2) the lower tier cards are useless even if they ARE upgraded.

If it were me I would take the Byung Hyun Kim card and dump the rest into him for an upgrade and be done with it. Just my opinion.

I'd rather have the 200k + PPs and do something useful instead of having a card that will get you no where past Bronze Level, if that.

Which is the exact reason why quick-selling would solve the problem, even if a quick-sell was worth only half the value.

It's perhaps not 'likely' - but it's definitely possible that they will change these to allow for quicksell. It's just such an obvious logical problem, and as you said, they have seemingly been doing this by the seat of their pants. So there's no good reason not to fix this error that has been identified.

And overall, PT devs are pretty responsive to the community.

I really hope that combinators are like last years PT Plus....One and done....Combinators suck and have ruined the game...

Well, I have bought Combinators from market but there is a big caveat, demonstrated below, it has to come with a premium value of Combinator points. And I agree it is impossible to predict if any of my leftover Combis have any synergies with all the other possible combinators. There is no way to check this either
