I've done skyboxes for a while now. As I've collected bits and pieces along the way, it's gotten steadily easier to make them. Now, thanks to Mrs. Cobb's support of my obscure hobby and a lot of time spent searching, it's gotten to be a much more streamlined process. I had none of these tools when I started.

The PDF linked below is my tutorial so that all of you can make skyboxes.

IF you're using an iPhone, grab Google Street View before it's discontinued on the App Store on March 21. If you're on Android, you'll probably have longer because you can side load apps, and I'd wager someone will keep a copy about. If you're not budget hampered, don't worry abut this.

The update: google is crap, and they've apparently disabled the app instead of simply not supporting it on iOS. Android users might have better luck because they can install old API's.

Otherwise...buckle up and get a 3d camera.

As you read, you'll notice a reminder for me to insert a field video. I haven't done that yet. Perhaps soon, as now that I have a 13' tripod to go with my normal sized one, it'll not look like I was filming for Homicide: Life on the Street.

Thank you for this. I'll give it a look. By the way I did pick the '68 Tigers over the Cardinals too, despite my classmates picking on me about it. haha I had the last laugh.
