Speaking as one person who loves OOTP, you’ve hit upon a critically important project that should be in your hands as a living document going forward. We all struggle with setting up simulations we are interested in and setups are so complicated (as you know all it takes is one wrong checked or forgotten line to hinder the output you are looking for that you may not uncover for a while..) that these forums have been critical in sharing information. This wiki should be “a game changer” if enough members of the community get involved.

So thanks to all of you for recognizing the potential. Now we need to promote its construction. This is a great project for the OOTP community.

I have been committed to delivering a functioning OOTP WIKI website for a couple of weeks now. It's been a roller coaster ride, with my time split 80-20, following the Pareto principle.

I'm seriously falling behind in actually playing the game itself. My League rosters are neglected, and my Tournament rosters aren't updated with my acquired cards. I've only won one Daily Tournament (a LIVE Silver).

What I need additionally is some inspiration for designing a well-built WIKI or news outlet. For instance, I have an RSS feed from https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/ which provides concise reviews on new content. Additionally, https://feedly.com/ helps aggregate any new relevant content.

But my best example of how Community delivers guides, tricks, and tips to the community comes from EVE Online and the community called EVE Academy: https://wiki.eveuniversity.org/Main_Page.

I would appreciate more examples that I could use for inspiration or ideas. The toughest thing is to make complex things simple to use and understand.

And no, I don't have a YouTube channel, nor do I sell used cars. My car is my precious.

Finally, I will need test users to try things out and find those pesky bugs and spelling errors, and identify what works and what doesn't. Until then, the site will remain in ALPHA state, where content is unpredictable.

Beta version is now LIVE for this WIKI, created a short Blog for this to keep track what goes on also.

In order to become part of OOTP WIKI users, Notion Free Plan registration is mandatory, that is not up to me change. Anyone who wants to share content between users on that platform has to be registered.

Content itself is public, nothing is filtered out for anonymous users at this moment at least.
I want to see still if there will be any technical issues when onboarding users to this site, might not react to every question immediately. Fastest way is to just post any issues identified into this thread, I will keep it open and refreshed.
