Tangential sidebar: Took my first night skybox with the Arthur Anderson going through the Soo Locks. They're about 2 1/2 hours away. Used to fish for pink salmon up there every fall.

Yeah, I got distracted by my new Blender addons (read about the good deal at the blog) and made this. There's no ground whatsoever, so don't use this with a cyclone fenced rear. I haven't worked with trueterrain yet, hence the lack of ground. This is a fictional sky put above Crosley Field. I wiped the background textures out of the files to help focus on the sky.

When I get my crap together on Blender, it's going to be a super powerful production tool. I may dump Vue for it...Vue's learning curve is substantially higher.

Using the recently posted Oriole Park (less its background), a glaring wispy sky from Mitchell St. just outside Petoskey, MI. It's about an hour from my house and a truly gorgeous region. The image is somewhat edited from a Google Street View capture.

Personal note: Tigers up by 7 over Tampa, and Jackson Jobe is making his debut in the Bigs for the 9th!!!
