I have to keep telling myself they are a game back as they do not own the tiebreaker. Every game is must watch tv at this point.

That was another big win. I know this will get lost in the excitement but with 1 more win the Tigers are guaranteed to finish with a winning record. The way they are going they may even catch KC before it is all said and done.

By day's end, Detroit will be somewhere between 2 games out of the third WC slot to tied with KC for the second WC slot. Keith is back in the lineup and it's another bullpen day - Go Tigers!

These last 9 games were the ultimate barometer and they just went 7-2 during that stretch. The momentum they are carrying into the last 6 at home is enormous. I don’t expect Tampa to roll over either. It will still be a tough 3 game set but they actually control their own destiny at this point.

Twins lost twice and KC lost while Detroit beat the Os.

Detroit rolled snake eyes today. I am waiting for the other shoe to drop but I believe!
