FHM11 Hotfix 11.1.19 Now Available

A hotfix for FHM11, version 11.1.19, has just been released.

To apply the update:

-If you are playing the FastSpring version, just download the setup file and install it over your current installation. There is no need to uninstall or unlicense your current copy! However, you should quit the game before installing it, of course.
-If you are playing the Steam version, the game will auto-update if you have that option active. If you don't see the update in your Steam update queue, you may need to exit and restart your Steam client.

We've released an early hotfix to take care of some of more urgent issues in yesterday's release. We'll be releasing a second one fairly soon with additional fixes that couldn't be done quite as quickly, but this one should take care of the worst of the problems.

Your existing savegames will be compatible with the updated game; saves that were getting crashes in February 2025 during the 4-Nations Cup should will now continue without a crash.

Changes:

-fixed excessive firing of head coaches after first season
-fixed issue in 2D mode that would cause the game to freeze and only advance when the play button is pressed
-players can now be dressed when playing as GM-only while managing lineups yourself (the issue with not being able to place them on lines is a little more complicated to fix, still working on it)
-games should be viewable in classic mode again, no black screen/crash
-fixed potential crash during the 4-Nations Cup when playing as Montreal or Toronto
-historical mode now has its correct preset injuries/suspensions file

Do database fixes (contracts, the Patrick Kane injury, etc) come out in these hot fixes or do they have to wait for the first full patch in mid to late NOV?

As Jeff said, this is a "Hotfix". It's to take care of things that will typically break a game immediately.

When it's an update (not labelled as "Hotfix"), it will have additional adjustments/bug fixes/incorrect data fixes.

Really great to have such a fast hotfix.


Can confirm, that a lot less head coaches get fired after the season.


However, there is still a related issue in the "Manager news".


When I click on a name of a fired head coach or gm on July 1th, it opens to a page with a different person. It fires the right person, but the name in the message is linked to somebody random. Happens in every message..

Kane was in the presets file, so he's fixed in this one, we replaced the modern version of it as well as the incorrect historical version. The contracts will be in the next one, not that mid-late November one, they're already fixed in our database but it was too short a turnaround to rebuild the game data yesterday.
