AI trades high end players for 4th round pics/sends to waivers

I posted picture of Jason Robertson being traded for a 4th round pick to Montreal on the reddit forums. I have also seen Wyatt Johnston be sent down on waivers (3.5 star player at the time.) I was told to post here but I can't seem to post images. I have the image of the traded Robertson, Dallas Stars Transaction logs, and their roster.

I think it may be blocking the image uploader because you're a new forum account. Can you upload it somewhere like imgur.com or imgbox.com and post the link? I'd like to see the Stars transactions before the Robertson trade in particular.

for what it's worth Dallas traded Johnston for a 2nd in 2025 for my save. Looks like they acquired 4 goalies and the rights to 1 that offseason too, maybe something to look into there? (As in, they kept trying to address their goalie concerns over and over to the point they acquired too much cap?)
