Len Schulte doesn't have real batting stats for 1944 but he got a base on ball as a pinch hitter, so his line should be 1G - 1PA - 1BB. The fielding is correct.

Lands, as I'm sorting through some of the attempts to solve cosmetic issues, I think MAYBE (want to stress MAYBE) that I've uncovered a slight error in the way the database is structured?

The MiLB teams database has a column for "franchise/affiliation ID." You would think this would point to the "franchise ID" on the teams file in the stats folder. In actuality, it points to the "teamid" instead.

This is what causes a break when you change the teamID on the teams file for cosmetic purposes. However, it would make more sense that the franchise/affiliation ID would attach to the franchiseID as that ID is static through gameplay whereas teamID changes.

I tend to not use the MiLB db but I get what you are saying. I'd defer to Lukas or Matt what a repointing would entail as well as the general issue of if a cosmetic column could be created so nothing needs to be repointed other than "the display feed", as it were.

Here's an odd one: Justin Thompson (thompju02 / thomps001jus) imports with what seems to be an unnecessary middle initial "W".

Looks like a remain of the time when we used only first name_last name for the players id... probably one of the last hidden one (one thing for sure I did the FGs from 1871 to 1978 earlier and I haven't encounter one of those guys).

Well can't he be placed on the lowest level of Boston then over being in FA? Why can't he be placed on the GCL in the Data base over being placed in FA?

As for the injured you have Joe Nathan, Brandon Webb, and a few others.

I really do not know how the DB works but should we not be able to make sure a player is in the correct system at least over them being in FA?

If I understand correctly the DSL (& VSL) teams are included in the 'MiLBTeams' csv file. The problem is that the DSL and VSL are not included in the 'MiLBLeagues' csv file. Hence the teams do not import as there is no league in which to include them.

Yeah there is no DSL in 2010 for the Boston Red Sox in the game. Just GCL

Apologies if this was issue was logged as in progress or completed, but when I get to the 2022 off-season (2023 season) the minor league teams don't get imported and disappear entirely. I saw from another post that this is because the milbleagues.csv file doesn't have the 2023 minor leagues in it, but I don't know how to fix it myself (my attempts didn't rectify the issue).

Would love if this was fixed so I can play future games past the 2023 season.

This isn't technically an "error" Lands, but I think you should adjust anyway.

Albert Belle has the nickname "Joey" in the database. Joey was historically accurate as a chosen name for a brief part of his career prior to his rehabilitation. After that, and for the vast majority of his career, he hated being called Joey, disowned the name and considered it extremely insulting when fans would call him that to mock him for his past addiction issues.

I would suggest removing Joey as a nickname for Albert and either going with nothing or with the nickname his teammates gave him, "Mr. Freeze."

The database does not appear to contain an entry for Negro Leaguer Brer Jones (jones-011bre / jonesbr03). None of the 11 William Joneses (his given name) seem to correspond to Brer either.

He wasn't in the db. I added him. There was no team code that I could find for the 1932 Atlanta Black Crackers but a teammate was there and had a 1932 stat line tied to the Louisville Black Caps, so I used that as a stand-in for now, just to get him in. Eventually both he and his teammate will have to be moved over to the Crackers.
