As long as the whales keep pumping money in which they obviously are doing the rest of the community is just an afterthought. Sorry if anyone disagrees but it's just the fact of the matter.

It's not that they didnt listen to the community, they only listened to the 30 or so people that make up 90% of their revenue.

I can see why a business would pay attention to their biggest spending customers

I just think that they have continually pecked away at the little triumphs available to the rest by making the level structure a pyramid. They could easily cater to the whales by going back to a more balanced structure where PeL400 was made up of the 29 winners of the other PeL's who had the most regular season wins and the defending PeL400 champion.

The rest of the PeL's would just be fed via the normal Pro/Rel scheme, but the holdovers from the previous week's PeL's would be seeded according to regular season wins, with those promoted from Diamond level filling out the leagues, again seeded by regular season wins. All this seeding would be in serpentine fashion.

This would make it possible for good FTP players to get to the PeL's and stay there for prolonged periods of time without interfering with the exclusivity of PeL400.
