When you download them, cab you assign them to individual ai teams, or are they random

by default the in-game profiles are generic and balanced, you can import a custom manager profile on an AI team without taking it over which is why I like these because you can impact the simulation without having to run the other team's day to day managerial game planning.

They're all default profiles, but the game comes with some old fan-base manager profiles and I made these for usage as well. The wiki explains where the strategy files are located.

Marty Beckwith

A calculating manager who plays the early game cautiously but gets increasingly aggressive with defensive alignments and shifts as the game goes on. Notable for how his infield positioning becomes more extreme in the later innings. Takes a measured approach to baserunning but is more willing to use shifting and tactical plays as the pressure builds. Shows interesting contrast between conservative offense and aggressive defense in critical moments. Really believes in defensive positioning as his key strategic weapon.

George Wilson
Manages by the book early but becomes much more focused on matchups and tactical advantage as the game goes on. Pretty standard with most strategies early in games but gets notably more aggressive with intentional walks and guarding lines in the late innings. Really emphasizes platoon advantages in critical situations. Patient with both starters and relievers throughout, but will lean heavily on matchups when the game's on the line in the 9th.

Ben Monroe
Modern-minded manager who emphasizes defensive shifts and patient at-bats. Pretty aggressive with baserunning and bunts for hits frequently, but conservative with most other small ball tactics. Notable for how he uses infield and outfield shifts while being patient with his pitchers. Not afraid to use pinch hitters for his pitchers but overall takes a balanced approach to substitutions

Unique tactician who brings modern MLB sensibilities to Japanese-style baseball. Balances aggressive defensive shifting with traditional small ball tactics - you'll see plenty of bunts but also lots of defensive alignments that reflect newer analytical approaches. Quick with the hook but strategic about it, and loves to play matchups late in games. Represents a true fusion of styles - not afraid to bunt with his power hitters but also willing to let his speedsters swing away when the numbers support it. Players say he's always got his notebook handy but trusts his gut on when to deploy small ball tactics.

Masashi Tanaka
Strong believer in traditional Japanese baseball principles with a methodical approach to pitcher usage. Sets strict pitch counts and manages his bullpen carefully. Very aggressive with small ball tactics - you'll see plenty of bunts and squeeze plays - and loves to control the running game from both sides. Not big on modern defensive shifts but extremely focused on fundamental positioning and matchups. Really emphasizes holding runners while being selective about when to run himself.

The wildcard of Japanese baseball who's earned the nickname 'Gonzoball' for his unpredictable style. Throws traditional Japanese managing on its head - he'll use openers regularly, push aggressive baserunning, and still keep the bunt game strong. Early innings he's all business with bunts and careful pitcher usage, but by the late innings he's unleashing chaos with aggressive running and matchup plays.

Baseball traditionalist with a modern analytics streak. Shows a clear progression through the game - patient early but gets increasingly focused on matchups and tactical advantages late.
