Ended up going back to bearman14's original. Still not very good and with the standard AI generative caveat. This may or may not be representative of what he actually looked like. palette.fm and friends as usual... |

Yes...this one was a heavy lift for sure. My end result was more "cartoonish" than I would like but there's only so much that AI can do...and what it can is not always good. |

Not sure if this will help, but this is a much clearer view of Shields' face. It's from the May 4th, 1925 edition of the Quincy Daily Herald.

palette.fm, et al. This one was "experimental" going back and forth between Topaz apps (Gigapixel and Photo AI). Came out better than I expected but neither the apps nor I were able to figure out if there was a left side ear lurking in smudged original. I'm including the Topaz version and the same with an ear painted in via Photoshop Elements. You decide... Last edited by infieldfly; 01-04-2025 at 07:52 PM. Reason: Palette spelling |

I tried using the Paint net to highlight the left ear and flipped to the right side... Not sure if this could work but when shrunken down to size of the Game - it may not be too bad... just not enough experienced to make the depth more realistic...
