I was giving this one a looksee too. Yours turned out pretty good. First one is ai enhanced.

Yes...this one was a heavy lift for sure. My end result was more "cartoonish" than I would like but there's only so much that AI can do...and what it can is not always good.

Not sure if this will help, but this is a much clearer view of Shields' face. It's from the May 4th, 1925 edition of the Quincy Daily Herald.

This one was "experimental" going back and forth between Topaz apps (Gigapixel and Photo AI). Came out better than I expected but neither the apps nor I were able to figure out if there was a left side ear lurking in smudged original. I'm including the Topaz version and the same with an ear painted in via Photoshop Elements. You decide...

I tried using the Paint net to highlight the left ear and flipped to the right side... Not sure if this could work but when shrunken down to size of the Game - it may not be too bad... just not enough experienced to make the depth more realistic...
