What's the point?

Like many of you, I am hoping against hope to pull Jack Morris in a pack. Right now he sells for just South of 200 K. What's the point of paying that much for him? Clase sells for 75K, Horton for 7 K, and the Rainbow Pack for 79K. That's 160K, you'd have to get some prime beef from the HD Pack you get for DET 2 to justify the extra PP expense.

Why is Morris so much right now? Mission? If so, give it a week or two and the price will go down.

It's been that way for several weeks. I've been waiting for it to come down, too.

I think it's probably because it's a really good card for diamond tourneys.

Sticky prices are a thing in PT's card shop. It's impossible to complete the Detroit 2 mission without Morris, and completing PT Elite might be required for something else (like Elite 2). The prices will eventually come down, but even then there will be players trying to hike them back up through hoarding or simply taking advantage of being the only player who's pulled that card lately. See Luderus and Konerko for two other bottleneck cards that remain unusually high despite being out longer than Morris.
