"YOU ARE AN OOTP GOD!" only happens when you lose the World Series -- change my mind.

I'm serious. In various sims over the past few weeks, I have reached the World Series only to fall short of the championship. And every time the game tells me I am an OOTP god.

I remember this specifically because it feels weird right after a disappointing loss.

If anyone has gotten this message under other conditions, I am all ears.

It doesn't. I get it plenty of times when I win the title. Pretty sure you just need a season score over 1,000

well if that's the case then it's pretty disappointing that all of my best seasons end in a World Series loss!

I'm coming off a 44-win season with the expansion Lexington Thoroughbreds. I have a lot of work to do before I ever get a message like that.

ok, just to be clear, this post was not some sort of humble brag. I do some "fantasy" sims where the scales are definitely tipped in favor of my team because I want to see what would happen in those situations. This post is really just how when the team wins the World Series, I don't get this message. It's only when I have a great team that falls short.

Which is funny to me.
