Hello everyone!

Join our league, however, it's with a twist.

FHM11 multiplayer seems to be fixed, so we will start there!

The BOYS OF WINTER LEAGUE - Soft Cap League

1) We will start in 1989-90
2) Initial Draft (serpentine) to start
3) I stream on Twitch daily to sim some games live. Great place to congregate with other GM's.
4) Historical rules apply (expansions, relocations are in effect, expansion drafts, etc.).
5) Steam gift cards as prizes!
6) SO MUCH MORE!

The league comes complete with a Discord server, with Stat bots, spreadsheets with more added depth/info/records and so much more!

This is our 3rd league in our Network, others being BOWL-Fantasy (Random Debut) that's into its 9th season and BOWL-Historical (Original 6) that's going into it's 12th season.

What's a soft salary cap?

Unlike a hard salary cap, which imposes a strict limit on how much a team can spend on player salaries, a soft salary cap allows teams to exceed the cap under certain conditions. In our league, proposed conditions are:

1. Luxury Tax: Teams that exceed the cap have to pay a luxury tax, which penalizes excessive spending.

2. Draft Pick Forfeiture: The more you spend, more picks you forfeit as a penalty.

3. Bird Rights: You can designate one player to be your franchise player who's contract will not go against your cap.

There will also be a salary cap floor that will also come with similar conditions.

This system aims to promote a competitive balance while still allowing teams to retain their stars.
