Will 26 change the impact velo gain has on pitchers?

I'm actually not at all concerned about the impact velo has on stuff. While it's a lot lower in 25 than previous version my main concern is the inverse effect that gaining velocity has on stamina, movement and control In a lot of cases while developing pitchers it causes gaining velo to be a net negative.

I assume the logic here is an old school "me throw ball harder ball is less accurate" but given this is mostly important for developing pitchers and how modern pitching science works this seems to be rather counter intuitive.

Hoping in 26 I can once again look forward to seeing velo gains on my pitchers and not hold my breath.

Is there some kind of research/discussion you can point to regarding this? It is not something I have previously seen/heard anything about.

Read an article on the ESPN web site about a month ago that is somewhat related. It was talking about the increase in pitcher arm injury. The article indicated that the increase in injuries was due to the fact that starters are told to throw hard from the get go instead of pacing themselves. So I wonder if a pitcher works on his velocity in development lab, does that increase his risk for injury?

If you just watch your players actively you'll see the change happen when they gain velo decently consistently. It also happens in reverse when older pitchers lose velo.
