Putting the Bow on PT 25

Hello, everyone!
It's been an awesome year with PT 25! We're excited for what's ahead of us, but we're looking to cap off the 25th anniversary in style.

There's a lot at stake, so you'll be able to enjoy your favorite baseball sim while pitchers and catchers report for the upcoming MLB season. We will also be able to enjoy the college baseball season, which begins Friday, Feb. 14 to begin filling our hearts with the sounds of the ballpark.

While we're all ready to enjoy another fun year of baseball, we still have Perfect League trophies up for grabs, the final PT Masters Series to play this weekend and the PT World Championship next week.

First, let's talk about Perfect League. Our latest champions (Maple Madness and Newton Sloths), have opted to forgo his latest trophy so we now have FIVE left! We've had more trophies at stake in PT 25 than any other previous version of the game.

We've also has a lot of tournaments, and there's still some big ones left with great prizes. We announced formats last week, so you can find the PTMS and PTWC details below.

PTMS can be found here: https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...27&postcount=1

PTWC can be found here: https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...35&postcount=1

Paul Sporer has already announced the prizes for PTMS 5, so you can spend your Valentine's Day weekend falling in love with these legends:
1st: SP Dwight Gooden, NYM, 1985, 105
2nd: RF Stan Musial, STL, 1948, 104
3rd-4th: CL Zack Britton, BAL, 2015, 103
5th-8th: CF Dale Murphy, ATL, 1983, 97
9th-16th: 3B Jimmy Dykes, PHA, Peak, 94
17th-32nd: LF Hardy Richardson, DTN, 1886, 89
33rd-64th: C Yadier Molina, STL, 2012, 83
65th-128th: SP Jordan Montgomery, NYY, 2021, 76

Expect to see a stream from Paul on Wednesday, Feb. 12 to show off the PTWC prizes! He may also have some content that will warm your heart.

Like always, expect to see some streams from Dishnet34 to cover the PTMS, PTWC and Perfect League Championship!!!

While we can't wait for what's next, we're still overly excited for what's coming to wrap up 25 years in incredible fashion!

EDIT: Changed the post to reflect that we now have five Perfect League trophies left and not four.

Will more missions be added or were last week's missions the final ones for this cycle?

It is an actual, physical trophy that is sent to those who win Perfect League. We've been doing that for a few cycles now.

I think Paul said at one point that there might be a "Mission Week" type set with missions, but I am not sure when that will be.

Thanks, that's hype! I figured that might be the case, but I wasn't sure. Definitely my goal now. Will the remaining trophies be given out until they are gone, even if that overlaps with OOTP26?

I believe that is the case, yes.

Good luck to everyone participating in the PTMS today!

If you're in the tournament and haven't filled out a roster yet, you still got a half hour!
