Historical Question

Is there any plan to implement the ability to start seasons at the time of an expansion draft?

Now you listen to me! This is my last shot at a winner and for some of the younger guys it could be their only shot. I don't know what happened to you. But if you ever, ever tank another play like you did today, I'm gonna cut your nuts off and stuff em down your f***** throat! - Jake Taylor, Major League

It would be quite interesting if the historical seasons could be started as a "live start" where one could choose the date, although I think it would be a bit of an inconvenience because that means that the AI would take control of your team until that date and "unfortunate things" could happen, although I think it is a feature that could be valid, just like in OOTP 25 the seasons start right on the opening day, when before they started in the ST (only historical seasons).

My favorite way to play OOTP is to sim a year, say 1981 and then take over the worst team after that season, but take them over during the 1981 playoffs and start fresh with the worst team in the winter of 1981 into 1982 season. This way I don't start at Opening Day with a historical team. I've had a lot of fun with this, personally. Sometimes I do a draft lottery and just take over the winning team which is usually just as bad lol.

20 years requesting what i would think would be simple request. I would guess no, or they would be marketing how you can do it with some snazzy graphics

Doesn't the hockey game have the ability to do this?

There's always someone who assumes something is a "simple" fix/request. I would think, on the contrary, that if it was a simple feature to implement, it would have happened already.
