The Franchise Baseball League
We are at the start of the 2033 offseason and we have the following openings:
New York Mets - Won the NL EAST with 98 wins. Has the 3rd highest budget and has 79M available. Had a middle of the road farm system, but has 5 top-100 spects. https://atl-01.statsplus.net/thefbl/team/19?page=roster Houston Astros - In need for a rebuild, coming off a 94 loss season, negative money for another season and pretty much no farm. It's a nightmare, but someone can turn it around. https://atl-01.statsplus.net/thefbl/team/12?page=roster https://atl-01.statsplus.net/thefbl/ Sim Length: 7 days Sim Schedule: Tu-Th-F-Su at 730pm EST (dailies during the offseason) Player Ratings: 1-100 No Stars Full Coaching System, with no Coach Poach No multi-year extensions until after a player has been through arbitration once 6 yr max contracts Only one Team Option is allowed, it must include a 50% buyout, and it cannot be the cheapest season of a contract Incentives must not exceed 10% of the AAV and must be realistic; I am the sole arbiter The full rulebook is published through our slack channel.
