Future OOTP 26?

I know that OOTP 26 is the final launch. I will play it forever. Is it possible to yearly update the roster, update, add, fix, etc.?

I played since OOTP 1. I own every version of OOTP until OOTP26.

Why do you think 26 is the final launch?

He did, yes, but it sure is not gonna be the end of the game. It's in good hands with the team (Lukas, Matt, Will, etc.) we have now, and unless something catastrophic happens, there will be future releases.

People leave companies. Does not mean the game is going to go away with them. The same people that started Madden Football, not all of the head people are still there. Heck, even the Man himself, John Madden has passed away, but that does not mean, Madden Football is done.

Trust me, there will be an OOTP 27 and probably 28. 29. 30, 31... As long as we keep buying the game and the rest of the team has their heart in the game and to put up with all of us... they will keep putting content out!

I wonder if people are more concerned that it might go the way of Madden.
As in basically roster updates. Introduce a feature only to take it away a few years later and then bring it back a few more years later.

Personally i don't think it will.
I think Markus developed quite a team and i don't believe he would have turned it over if he didn't have confidence in its future.
Seems to me that it would be pretty hard to walk away from something you built from scratch to great success and not care about its future.

With all the requests and ideas to improve the game that the community suggests, i have a feeling ootp is gonna be around for quite some time.

A lot of Madden's issues on why they would remove and add things was they were still trying to stick all that data on a CD-ROM/DVD whatever they were using. However, now... since they do everything by downloads... they don't have that excuse but... they still do it haha.
