If she was in the db, she'd have no stats. The BR record is just a shell.

There must be some specific reason that we don't understand then as I don't think having empty stats effects it, for example how the game randomly imported special personnel as players (first basemen) into the draft pool including Henry Chadwick who doesn't have stats but it doesn't work when trying to import Jim Creighton, who has a B Ref page. It also imports other minor leaguers with missing or incomplete stats too and successfully imports specific college players but not all too. I haven't been able to test it again to see if its any different a month later as I am still waiting to get a new or recover the old laptop still.

Chadwick is the HOF so he came in when all of those HOF players, regardless of stats, had their bio info imported in the OOTP database. If you try to import him as a player, I imagine he comes in with the skills of a fence post because he has no stats.

By default, the Negro Leagues will still function as they have in the past, where to enable the full Negro Leagues you enable to enable the historical minor leagues. But with adding these equivalency lines, we've also been able to add in effectively a few alternate setups.

One option is that in the regular historical game, we can import the Negro Leagues players to a regular historical league, and they will appear as free agents. So you could play a 1921 game and sign Oscar Charleston.

Is that still happening? For example, if I delete Chipper Jones and import him into my 2025 draft class, he is a stud. But if I delete Oscar Charleston and add him, then he would suck. I am not sure what changed a few years ago that caused this.

Basically, I just want to know how it will work this year.

Their data lies in the minor league database, so if you re-import them you have to make sure to have that DB option selected. But yeah, that was a lot of the reason why some of the changes here were made, so that imports using the major league database (like in random debut mode) would work.
