I've seen this happen several times in ootp25 as well- occasionally young guys peak early, that's fine, but it does seem like an error somewhere is making it very commonplace. Especially noticeable with pitchers losing velo in their early/mid twenties without an injury. Again a thing that happens! But happening weirdly regularly!

This guy was BRIEFLY elite, in a league with scouting off, then he turned 24:

We have our settings as well:

Batter Aging: .700
Batter Dev: 1.250
Pitcher Aging: .700
Pitcher Dev: 1.250
Dev Target Age: Default
Aging Target Age: Default
TCR: 90

I haven't looked under the hood at ratings because I have a team in the league so that feels incredibly shifty to me, but if anyone has figured out a fix for this, I'd be interested.
Your development and aging settings are too extreme. Highly recommend to go back to defaults

Out of intrigue, because one of my league members is bringing it up, do the people who have this problem have coaches turned on or off? And do the people NOT having this problem have coaches turned on or off?

Cause we have coaches turned off in our league.

Well I feel vindicated now lol. Guess it wasn't just our "extreme" settings.
