Anyone play in the KBO?

Do any of you play the KBO? It is one of the licensed leagues so thought I'd ask.

I usually play a season in the KBO waiting for the first big patch to fix release day issues before I start my MLB save. I usually play as Kiwoom since I saw them when I was in Korea and they have produced a few MLBers. They also have Yasiel Puig this year so that should be interesting.

Unfortunately, last year the KBO was basically the North American game with no real differences in the 3D simulator. Hopefully, they'll change some things, the biggest being the atmosphere. They cheer and play musical instruments during the game so that would be nice to hear rather than that guy who says "No way...no way" or the vendors talking in English.

Also would be nice to have the names in last name, first name order like Korea does. If they could be in Hangul on the scoreboard or in the lineup but have the PBP still in English, that would be icing on the cake.

I like your ideas; I just finished my KBO save with the Hanwha Eagles on stream earlier today. Wound up importing actual seventh inning stretch songs from in-park video recordings.

You could snag some KBO ballpark ambience audio and add it to your sounds folder.

This sounds fun. I like the idea of singing some US players that don't get signed in the MLB to see if they can crush it.

I always have a KBO league in my universes and i prefer to play there to start my save and earn a job in MLB that way

Kiwoom is a fun team to follow, and having Puig adds even more excitement. Hopefully, future updates bring more authenticity to the atmosphere and name formatting—it would really enhance the experience. Enjoy your KBO season! My younger sister was assigned a cause-and-effect essay, and she was overwhelmed with research work. Unfortunately we do not have the licensing for the foreign players in the KBO, so they are randomized.
