Special Rules & Settings: Custom financials (see Rules link). Coaching and scouting disabled (so 100% scouting accuracy). Two subleagues, two divisions each so 5 teams in every division. No interleague play, best-of-7 division series, best-of-7 league championship series, best-of-9 WBA Championship Series. New owners may move teams but must keep them within the divisional geography. 1995 statistical settings were used for league creation; more/less offense and more/less pitching league evolution settings were originally left ON with all other evolution off, however statistical issues have caused us to move to a modified era_stats file to control statistical output. Stats+ is used for league functions where possible.

All of that and more explained in the rules link above. There are several custom tools pages that I coded to make participation easier. These include financial snapshots, a backup team export file upload tool, a page that checks for any contracts outside of league rules, position check for players being assigned incorrect positions, and a DFA status page that allows owners to check to see if they need to take care of any DFA issues without having to get into the game. I can confirm that this is a great league to join! The slack chat is active and the baseball is competitive and the commissioner only prioritizes family over his fake-baseball friends some of the time. I think we get through 5 or so sim-seasons per year?

It's a tough league for a newbie because there are a lot of very experienced GMs (over half of them have been in this league for 4+ real-life years, I think)... but it's also a good league for a newbie becase most of those GMs are active in the slack chat and willing to help out someone who's new.

This is an amazing league with a terrific commissioner. As mentioned by the previous post this is a very competitive group of experienced and helpful GMs.

If you're on the fence about which league to join just stop looking and join this one already!

We have just reached the start of the off-season and we have some openings. The draft and free agency are about to be underway. This is a great league with a dedicated group of owners led by a fantastic commissioner.
