Past year rosters

Totally new to this game, but I was wondering if there are any historical rosters out there?

What I was wondering if I could do was take the best position player for the Seattle Mariners and make them my 2025 roster.

Is something like that even possible?

If you play historical you can go as far as 1871... notice that from 1871 to 1900 the league structure as is aren't the same that it was in real life.

From your specific question I think it's doable, I'm sure I have seen this discuss in the historical sub-forum at some point. Try asking your question there you will have a better chance to get someone to tell you in details how to do it.
