Over The Mound Baseball League

OTM is a long-running, fictional OOTP Online league. If you are seeing this thread bumped, it means we are recruiting!
This is a long-term, stable, GREAT league, now into the 2090's !! Take on a challenge and guide your team to an OTM World Series trophy.

Openings will always be listed here. Please also bookmark this thread for future reference. We welcome both veteran GM’s and enthusiastic newcomers to join a collection of exactly that within OTM.

We use Slack for all league communication and to confirm trades.

Commissioner (David - Goldeyes): PM "Winnipeg59" via OOTP Forum (with name and e-mail)

OOTP Version: 25 (Last season before 26)
Players: Fictional
Export Deadline/SIM Schedule: Sims 6:30am-ish ET Monday, Wednesday, Friday & Sunday (daily post & off-season) - 7 Days/Sim (adjusted in post-season)

Notable Rules & Settings:
Contract Extensions: Controlled players require 3yrs major league service for multi-year extension
Ratings: 1-10 scale (except player POT 2-8 for a little "fog")
Ovr/Pot: Stars
Coaches & Scouts: Off
Option years: Only one per contract
Draft Pick Trading: NO
Trades are forced (You can dip into the red, but are responsible for doing so - and for getting out)
A process to move a franchise after a complete year in OTM. Check the Rules link.
The rules are pretty basic, making for an easy & fun environment for both established GM's and newcomers.

Just missed the World Series 4-2.

Or if you're a fan of building a team from the ground up, the gig with the Evansville Otters might be the better option.

Either way, this is a long-term, stable, and fun league.
Not all the bells & whistles are active, but enough to provide a challenge!
