No, it takes some time to get stuff updated, as well as to get a new build out. We should get most of the major OD changes into the next patch, with maybe a few additional tweaks and adjustments coming in the one after. It especially takes time because the minor league rosters are not set at MLB Opening Day, so there's a lag time of up to a couple weeks there as those get set and we work through updating stuff like injuries for MiLB guys.

When do you expect to have the next patch out?
I’m having issues with the draft classes coming out without HS players, then when they do populate closer to the draft, the players are fictional… is that going to require a new game start to resolve, or does that get fixed with an update to a current league?

This sounds like it's working as intended, the HS players will be fictional after year 2 and you'll likely even see some then. That's as far ahead as we load real HS guys.

This happened in Year 1. It started with 2 HS players in the class, then populated with all fictional players closer to the draft. The Draft Combine was almost entirely fictional players right from the start.

Yeah, so it sounds like this is just working as intended. We'll likely build things out with some more real players in future drafts over time. As we get closer to the draft this year, we will work more and more on adding/adjusting draft eligible players not just for 25 but for some future years as well.

EDIT: Sorry, I misread what you mentioned above. This really shouldn't be the case in 2025, there should be enough real players there to not generate any/many fictional guys. Were these 2025 eligible players or players eligible for future drafts? In any case, I replied to your thread in the bug reports and we'll check over the files you posted there and see if something might be off.

Hi! The Mac patch download leads to 26.1.39. Is Mac behind on updates or is there another link I could use? Just wanna know for sure before I start my next save. Appreciate y'all!

No, Mac is on the same version and the main server link for the FastSpring version is how I got it.

I believe that it's working for you. Just isn't for me for whatever reason. If I knew how to attach screenshots, I'd show you. I'm getting a repeated message that there's a new update available upon launch, and I'm not allowed to open PT for that same reason.

Below is the page you should be using to download the current version of OOTP26. To be safe, try clearing your browser history (in Safari, that option is under the "History" tab (last option)).

Not sure of anyone has mentioned this but in Live Start all Yankees on IL show up as part of Mets organization.

Yes, it's above and in bugs thread. Live Start is wonky with rosters right now, IMO. Needs a fix.

Just a side note.

I know many people may not use this feature. However I made a custom league where you can trade your draft picks. The only problem I find with it is if say you shop a player you cannot say shop a player for just a draft pick or shop a player for prospects and draft picks. I was just wondering if this could be looked into maybe in a future update.

Just cause when i say shop for a player it only gives me players unless i need to change what i am looking for in say like multi prospect package or maybe include something like draft picks that your looking for when shopping a player. Just an idea for those of us who like to have trading draft picks on.

Great idea, as someone who often includes DP Trading, this would be a fun addition.

The only way i can do it right now is if add a player to trade and then add picks myself. We cant shop plyers for picks which would be good.

If he had started hot instead of cold the rating could feel more sensible. Hard player to rate. What I trying to say is that early results may have change peoples perspective on the player. Let's see a month or two from now. But yeah, his not Cy Young class right now haha.

I just wish we could get some rough eta so we can plan accordingly. If it’s a month away, maybe I just work with the latest update and move forward.

We are still working through some fixes and updates. Our aim ideally is to have something out by the end of this week, although it may end up early next week, depending on which pieces we need to finalize.

Thanks for the update! I will wait for the update then.

I already messed around with a save a bit and somewhat messed up since I went through offseason without even doing the development camp…..not sure how I missed it, but at least this won’t be a save I’ll be continuing with long term.
