How do you set your pitching staff to a 3 man rotation?

Do you just put 3 SP in and it just happens? Normally, the only options are 4-, 5-, or 6-man rotations.

That seems pretty risky, but I think that if only 3 SP posted it would pull from the bullpen and whoever is designated as an emergency reliever. Even with pitchers at max stamina they usually wouldn't be above 50% energy after only 3 days from what I have observed over the years.

Leave the 4th starter blank?

It seems to be a popular thing in cap tournaments, at least at the bronze level.

Daves is correct,

Set to a 4 man rotation and have at least 4 relievers.
