CBA Analysis

We have now completed the first full month of the season, with Southie play9ing the most games (15) and Cambridge with the fewest games played (8). That means we will have a lot of basketball to play once the calendar turns to 2315 in a month.

Conference leaders are Medford (9-4) in the North and Boston (10-3) in the South. The Irish are trailed by Salem, Cambridge, and Con-Lex. The Bugles are trailed by Airport, Quincy, and Southie. The top two teams in each conference make the playoffs.



Medford's PG Junji Christie has been on fire this season, averaging double figures in points per game (30.0) and assists (10.1). Those 30.0 points per game trails only Quincy's Reggie Pacer (35.1) and the 10.1 assists trail only Southie's Vee Tsankov (10.9).

The Bugles have six players averaging double figures in points per game, but the leader is C Tre Davis. Davis is averaging 28.0 points (4th), 13.3 rebounds (2nd), and 2.3 blocks per game (2.3).



As mentioned above as the CBA's top scorer, the Ironclads' Pacer was named Player of the Month. Sniper Armstrong, Cambridge's #1 overall pick in the 2314 Draft, was named Rookie of the Month.



The NEBA is just getting under way, so there is nothing to report at the time. Teams have played one or two games, so we will cover them more in January.

CBO News

The 2314 offseason has not been particularly active thus far. One incident that is on the serious side happened mid-November when a group of FHE players traveling together were attacked. Ori Gun, Jeremiah Frogbull, Lawdog Whipple, and Sluggo Pyne were involved in an incident involving a queen mirelurk along the Atlantic coast. Frogbull was the most serious injured, supposedly currently fighting for his life at a clinic in Sandwich.

In other news around the CBO, the CYL has been trying out pitching training, considering working on upping the productivity of pitchers coming out of the CYL. According to one unnamed coach in the league, "Pitching is priority. We don't see much good pitching at this level, but we need to."

It is most certainly not in the best of health but chugging along. I had a damn good reason for being away for a week, though. I completed my dissertation. Next week, I defend, and then I finally reach my goal of being Dr. StLee.
