26 Release

I find this 26 release the most ho-hum release ever.

I would tend to agree, though I have not played a ton of it yet, waiting for the OD update, which is seeming to be very late. I haven't loved the last couple of OOTP releases personally though. I feel like they focus on things that I don't really enjoy that much, like Perfect Team, so perhaps the game is just rending away from what I like, which is totally fine, it's their game, not mine.

Looking at the change list... how much was updates to PT vs base game? Base game gets quite a bit of love compared to PT. Just saying.

Yeah, I'm now mostly waiting for GO 26 to come out. For some reason I enjoy that way more now.

I do PT now, but mostly just set rosters & check on thru the day. I set the PT Live rosters daily too. I'm so much more into the GO 26 because I like the gameplay and field graphics on the GO platform.

Just feels like something is missing this year

PT uses the base game so they could easily only add features to the base game with the end game befitting PT.

You can point to features like draft combine that PT has no use for, as examples of love being shown to the base game rather than a general statement.

Both versions have always "helped" each other. Something that is lost to many of the "PT has ruined OOTP" crowd.

Take out the "shared" features and OOTP proper has the longer list, as it does every year. twins_34 wasn't wrong.
