Every time I start a season in 2005 and press import rookies directly to teams (rebuilding the Giants dynasty), it imports rookies directly as free agents.

Just Giants or everyone? What are you “pressing”? The selection to have cookie go to their irl teams and not have a draft is a selection made in the historical game set up wizard. Any other custom set up choices or changes to settings?

Looks to me as if Jim O'Neill imports into the game as African, which he was not.

here's a really obscure one.

There are two Mike Marshalls but UniNumbers.csv file has them both listed with the id of the first one.

'marshmi01' played from 1967-1980

'marshmi02' played from 1981-1991 (see the confusion?)

The UniNumbers.csv basically has 'marshmi01' listed from 1967-1991, and 'marshmi02' is not listed at all.

This means the 2nd Mike Marshall doesn't get his proper uniform #. The 1981-1991 entries for 'marshmi01' should be 'marshmi02'.

Please remember this post when you internally rank the most inconsequential bugs ever reported for your game.

2024 Los Angeles Dodgers historical season: Anthony Banda was not acquired by the Dodgers until May 17th of 2024. In the 2024 historical season, he is on the Dodgers opening day roster.

1971 Oakland A's historical season still has Jim Catfish Hunter listed as a DH. The DH did not even arrive until 1973.

Anthony Banda was fixed. Check your historical_transactions.odb file (in your stats folder). The file date should be April 2. As for Hunter, that's not a database issue. I have no idea why he'd show up as a DH. Did the AI make him a two-way player because of his hitting ability?

Catfish hit .350 that year in over 100 AB. I’d wager it’s a 1-year recalc issue where the A/W are looking to his IP but maybe not his AB. I tried turning off the double weighting and recalling the league and it made him a SP but the hit ratings still looked great and not adjusted.

My historical_transactions.odb file is April 11th. Banda, Kershaw, and Edman are all incorrectly on the opening day roster. This was a new 2024 historical season creation after my game was updated on Friday (04/11/2025).

AI or not, it makes no sense to have this in a 1971 season. 1973 was when the DH started. I'm simply pointing this error when starting a 1971 historical season with Oakland A's.

The award file needs a quick correction. Nelson Cruz cruzne01 has the 2015 All-Star and Silver Slugger decals that should be attached to Nelson Cruz cruzne02.

I recently went from 25 to 26 with this league, and I don't remember in which version this player was imported, but Kary Bridges came in with swapped hand/bat. Imported as R hitting, left throwing, but his BBRef page has this as L Hitting and R throwing.
