OOTP Go 26 Patch 26.2.50.8

Hi all,
New patch out today with a number of changes. It also includes all the applicable changes from the regular desktop patches that have recently been put out.

This will fix the client version for all PT players.

26.2.50.8
Fixed Korean font issues
Fixed incorrect or missing historical players database
Added threading in various places to improve performance
Greatly improved memory usage in 3D
Various UI improvements
Fixed Live Start mismatches
Misc bug fixes
Updated data

What’s the best way to get the new patch? I had to delete my current app and then reload the app from the App Store. That cost me my franchise I had created. Not much lost this time, but I would hate to lose it if I had three years played!

It should update like any other App. I have noticed as I have had each version of Go! the updates in the app store are strange. People were downloading it yesterday and I didn't see it, but this morning it was there.

It didn't work for me this time but when I have read the announcement that there is an update and I don't see the update available on my device I have searched the app store for the app and instead of it saying "open" because I have already downloaded it, it will say "update"

I guess the key is to be a little patient and not jeopardize your save.

Yep sometimes it will be downloaded automatically if you have that setting turn on on your device, but usually you'll just have to go to the store and it should say "update".
For some people it may take a while to show as an update available in the store because I'm guessing the App Store/Play store don't consistently refresh their local caches frequently (that's why it might not show as an update available but when you delete and reinstall it, it will grab the version directly from their server). Some ways I've found around this are first to force close the store (not just put it to the background). If that doesn't work, then I force close it and also restart my device.
