These are spectacular. Thank you!

I had previously found the image to make the attached card, but not sure where it came from.

Ed Farmer 1971 as a Brewer

[QUOTE=Merkle923;5182335]Again seems to me shots of my late friend Farmio during his cameos with the 1978 Brewers and 1983 A's were much desired.

The Brewers shot is clearly not a Brace but was included in this collection and I'll be darned if I know why or who took it. The background is obviously Anaheim Stadium. Ed did not pitch there as a Brewer but the team played its next-to-last series there in September. The photo has also been taped to cardboard, hence the filmy qualities. I'm going to have a crack at repairing the original and will then re-post if I get anywhere.

Does this option obviate the need to repair?

Jones: looks to be from the West Palm Beach based files of our eBay friend Kyle.

Farmer: a decent headshot but either washed out color or a passing effort at colorization. The shot I posted has the advantages of certainly being color and easily dated to his actual time with the team. I have previously liberated some of the scotch tape from other prints! There's also a second Farmer/Oakland that's been found in the collection which I'll post ASAP

Thanks as I've been looking for a decent R Jones, Farmer & Putnam for awhile so to quote LB Bart Scott.... "can't wait!".

Thank You Merkle

I still dream Fanatics will resuscitate the Vault one day, but in the meantime these are a godsend, thank you so much for one and all.

And I'm still over the moon about the Mario Ramirez you kindly posted a while back!

Matt Keough 1977 (in 1985 and 1986)

I recall that a few years ago the quick nomadic last stops on the career of the late pitcher Matt Keough were complete blanks in terms of color photography.

Well - he's in the Brace mega-lot too.

I do not think the profile of him with the Cardinals is a Brace but it's in the collection. The other Cardinals (September-October 1985), Cubs (April-June 1986), and Astros (June-October 1986) clearly are. There are some other Cubs shots of him on sale, at high prices, that appear to be printed off Brace negatives which as we now know couldn't have been spread further afield if they'd all been put in one store room and then all the windows opened on a windy day.

Anyway, here is the onetime A's ace, son of Marty Keough, former reality TV star, in seldom-seen unis:

Are there any photos of Jim O'Rourke with the Washington Senators?

This is all I have for O'Rourke from 1893. It's from the team composite. 1893 is a notoriously scarce year for photographs although I'm not sure why.

Sammy Samuels 1895

Quite by accident I ran across another photo of journeyman infielder Samuels. He is in the 1896 Roanoke team photograph printed in the 12/19/1949 edition of The World News. The newspaper got the year wrong for this team but this is undeniably Samuels. He was a notoriously tough player to pin down as he bounced around teams a lot, and he only appeared in 7 games for Roanoke.

Would love to see the team composite for the 1893 Washington team, am not aware that it existed.

The image, however, I fear could be a reproduction of his image enclosed in the 1891 New York Giants composite.

I'm sure you're right, and that kind of proves they were trying to be cheap in 1893. For what it's worth, however, this was printed in the 4/2/1893 edition of The Washington Post.

Thank you so much for sharing. Yes 1893 images are indeed precious.

Here is an option for the 1891 O'Rourke image.

Matt Antonelli 2008 Baltimore Orioles uniform

He signed a minor league deal with them in November of 2011, and these photos are from Spring Training 2012.

Fernando Tatis, Astros

Does anybody know what the vault code is for the Fernando Tatis photos with the early-70s Houston Astros? I did a search on here and in the vault listings and didn't find anything. In the search in the Vault listings it gave 923a but didn't include the letters at the beginning of the code.

Thanks,

BRobby05

Jose Luis Altuve

Speaking of minor leaguers who predate major league stars with the same name as them, does anyone have any photos of Jose Luis Altuve, who played in the Washington Nationals farm system from 2006 to 2009? I can find literally nothing about him online aside from his B Ref page.

The Three Fernando Tatii

Just to clarify, while the Altuves don't appear closely related (maybe not at all; the "other" is 6'1"), the Fernando Tatis who went to camp with the Astros in 1974 and is in the TCMA 1975 Dubuque Packers set is the current Fernando Tatis's grandfather. I'm not sure if 1974 Astros Tatis and 1999 Two Grandslams In The Same Inning Off The Same Pitcher Tatis are estranged, but I've never seen any connection acknowledged. They are father and son and the fella we think of as Senior is actually Junior and the superstar should be III or something.

Can't help on the file code. I do know Fanatics' attitude on the negatives is utterly different from Topps. I'm supposed to go down there next week and will ask for their thoughts on posting some images (maybe guys who never appeared on cards, or in the majors) here. The vault and the remaining 10-12 filing cabinets were shut down during Covid and have been since put in storage.

Not sure if this is what you are looking for, but the 3 Tatis Astros Vault I have go with these filenames: ET069, ET070 & ET071

The actual vault codes say that those are Alex Taveras. I kinda ran into that myself.

Thanks for your help & for trying!

I hope that you can come up with these:

Bernie Carbo-1970-71 Reds & 1972 Cardinals
Tommy Helms-1970-71 Reds & 1972-74 Astros
Woody Woodward-1970-71 Reds
Joe Pepitone-1970-72 Cubs
Paul Schaal-1970-73 Royals
Etc.,

Hopefully you can get your "mitts" on these.
Thanks again for your response and please let me know what all you got if you can get some stuff,
