If I Could Turn Back Time

Question. I know how to delete players, their history, leagues, stats, etc. Is it possible to change the game year of an existing save?

I have a fictional league that has been running over several OOTP versions that now has 100 seasons completed. I wanted to wipe out all of its history (easy to do) and all of its players (also easy) and reset the game back to its first game year, 1950. It's the last part I'm having trouble figuring out. If it can even be done at all.

Any ideas? If I have to I'll just start a new game but there are a lot of specific rule and world changes I'd rather not go through and reset again.

Maybe save it as a template and pick the starting year as 1950 when starting over, using the league as a template?

Gave it a shot. It started in the last saved game year. Oh well. I'm thinking this can't be done.

Did you change the starting year? I think after choosing the template you have to change the starting year again. Might be misremembering this but I think I’ve done this before
